2020 Sephora Sale Recommendations

Welcome to my first ever Sephora sale buying guide!

I always enjoy reading other peoples’ recommendations and I thought I would compile my own list this year to serve as a reference for some of my favorite products available at Sephora, and to give you some inspiration if you’re looking for some new products to try.

The Sephora sale is one of the few times a year I’ll splurge on some products, and try out new sets that come out for the holiday season.

I know that this year is unlike any other as we live among a pandemic that has affected people physically, mentally, emotionally, as well as economically, and that not everyone is in a position to spend money on non-essentials. I don’t want to come across as pressuring any of my readers to buy products that aren’t necessary or affordable. At the end of the day, beauty is my form of self-care, my hobby, and my passion, but it is not something to go into debt for. This guide will be on my blog as long as the site is around, and there are always more sales, so if this year is not a good time to be spending money on beauty products, feel free to save this guide for another time. Makeup and skincare are not worth going into debt over.

However, if you are in a position to spend or want to treat yourself, this list is about as comprehensive as it gets. I basically went through the entire Sephora site and tagged every product that I’ve tried and loved.

As always, the sale starts at different times for different levels:

VIB Rouge, 20%: 10/30-11/9

VIB 15%: 11/3-11/9

Beauty Insider 10%: 11/5-11/9

In my opinion, this sale is really worth it for VIB Rouge. If you are a Beauty Insider, or even VIB, the sale is not really a great discount, especially since many of the brands at Sephora often have sales on their own websites that are at least 20%. Shopping at Sephora may still be worth it for the points, but definitely keep an eye on the brands that you shop often for when they do their own sales around the holidays.

There are a few exclusions to brands that I will be talking about, such as brands that I’m not currently supporting because of their lack of support or action on inclusivity and equity in the beauty space, which comes through in the form of non-inclusive shade ranges (Hourglass, Ilia, Lilah B, Kosas, Tower 28),  repeated reports of racism and discrimination by employees, influencers or ambassadors (Charlotte Tilbury, Jo Malone), or just silence and non-action at best (Tatcha and Drunk Elephant), and disregard, at worst around issues of equity and support for Black lives (Drunk Elephant). Although you’ll see one Charlotte Tilbury item that I am furiously trying to find a dupe for, you won’t see any products from the other brands mentioned.

Sure, some of these brands have made products I like, but the world of beauty is so much larger than the brands who disregard whole segments of the market. I also know that some of these brands have publicly spoken about plans to expand shade ranges, hire more BIPOC (and specifically Black people), and work with more BIPOC influencers, but to me, all of those words are lip service until I see some action. If these brands really improve in the future, I will gladly purchase from them again, but for now, I will not be promoting them.

Let’s get started! Here are the sections included in this guide. If you click on one of the links below, it will automatically take you to that section of the post.

MAKEUP

FACE

Primer: Erborian Extra Matte Ultra Mattifying Primer – $42 for 1.5oz –
VIB Rouge 20% off: $33.60
VIB 15% off: $35.70
BI 10% off: $37.80

If you have oily skin, this is definitely worth a try. This primer feels like a lotion and does not feel heavy or silicone-y on the skin at all, and makeup still applies really smoothly over this primer, which I do not find is always the case with mattifying primers. The primer keeps my skin fairly matte even through very hot and humid days, but doesn’t feel like it sits heavy on my skin. It also doesn’t suck all the moisture from my face, so my makeup stays matte, but not too flat or lifeless. This is a new holy grail for me!

Foundation: Nars Soft Matte Complete Foundation – ($40 for 1.5oz)
VIB Rouge 20% off: $32
VIB 15% off: $34
BI 10% off: $36

This is a beautiful medium-full coverage matte foundation that will be a dream for oily skin. It is very matte and WILL catch on dry spots, but if you are looking for a matte foundation that still leaves the slightest hint of satin glow, and you have oily or very oily skin, this is a great option. It also lasts all day without budgiing or transferring onto a mask.

Foundation: Pat McGrath Sublime Perfection Foundation ($68 for 1.18oz) – reviewed here
VIB Rouge 20% off: $54.40
VIB 15% off: $57.80
BI 10% off: $61.20

While this is not my all-time favorite foundation because it gets oily on me within 6-8 hours, it’s a beautiful foundation that is great for photos and special occasions. It applies beautifully and blends right into my skin. It adapts to matte or glowy looks depending on the type of skin prep and primer you use so it’s very versatile. Review here.

Glow: Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter ($44 for 1oz) – reviewed here
VIB Rouge 20% off: $35.20
VIB 15% off: $37.40
BI 10% off: $39.60

This is the only Charlotte Tilbury product you’ll see, only because I am still looking for a comparable product, which I haven’t found yet, and it really is a staple in my routine. I apply this after my foundation in places where I would usually add highlighter, but it gives me a shimmer-free glow that makes my face look super healthy without adding too much shine. This is what I use to look awake and healthy, even if I don’t feel like it. Review here.

CHEEKS

Blush: Dior Backstage Rosy Glow Blush in Coral ($37 for .16oz/4.5g)
VIB Rouge 20% off: $29.60
VIB 15% off: $31.45
BI 10% off: $33.30

This is a beautiful subtle blush that leaves a coral glow. It doesn’t have any shimmer yet I feel like I glow with this blush because it gives a translucent coral tint. It’s not too pigmented, but it builds up, so you can apply it for a very natural subtle look, or build it up for a brighter cheek, which makes the shade very versatile for me.

Blush: Fenty Beauty Cheeks Out Freestyle Cream Blush ($20 for .1oz/3g)
VIB Rouge 20% off: $16
VIB 15% off: $17
BI 10% off: $18

This has become one of my favorite cream blush formulas because it’s buildable, glowy without being too greasy or dewy, and relatively long lasting for my oily skin. Rose Latte is a perfect fall flush since it’s a rosy brown shade. I’ve been reaching for this nearly every day this season.

Highlighter: Tom Ford Sheer Highlighting Duo In Reflects Gilt ($84)
VIB Rouge 20% off: $67.20
VIB 15% off: $71.40
BI 10% off: $75.60

This is a beautiful highlighting duo to treat yourself. Beyond the beautiful packaging, the two shades with a rosy side and a peachier side will work for any occasion, plus the gel-powder formula glides on smoothly and melts into the skin.

Highlighter: LXMI Nilotica Goddess Glow ($42 for 1oz)
VIB Rouge 20% off: $33.60
VIB 15% off: $35.70
BI 10% off: $37.80

If you prefer a liquid highlighter, don’t sleep on this one. It looks like a generic pink with gold shimmer, but it leaves a gorgeous ethereal rose gold glow that is radiant without being blinding. It’s a great everyday highlighter to tap over foundation, or to mix into foundation, and the formula is ultra-long lasting on my skin. I still notice the rosy glow 10 hours after I apply the product.

EYES

Eye Palette: Natasha Denona Bronze Eyeshadow Palette – $65
VIB Rouge 20% off: $52
VIB 15% off: $55.25
BI 10% off: $58.50

The Bronze palette was my first palette from the brand, and I see why people love Natasha Denona’s eyeshadows. They are so pigmented and blendable, and the color story on the Bronze palette works all year round for a bronze look. The shimmers all have different tones that don’t look obvious when you look at the pan, but I find that I can create very different looks with the different shimmers in this palette.

Eye Palette: The Pat McGrath Mothership Palettes ($125) are definitely a splurge, but undoubtedly the best eyeshadow palettes I’ve ever used. They have unique color stories, formulas and finishes, and are really a treat to use. I recommend Bronze Seduction and Divine Rose 1 or 2.
VIB Rouge 20% off: $100
VIB 15% off: $106.25
BI 10% off: $112.50

Pat McGrath palettes are some of my all time favorite palettes for anything from a basic look to a statement look. The shimmers and mattes are flawless, and her special glitter shades are complex and unique. Bronze Seduction is the most versatile if you like warm neutrals, while Divine Rose 1 has cooler neutral shades. Divine Rose 2 has been my recent go-to for cooler looks with more depth.

Eye Palette: Roen Beauty 11:11 Eyeshadow Palette – $42
VIB Rouge 20% off: $33.60
VIB 15% off: $35.70
BI 10% off: $37.80

These eyeshadow quads have one of the most unique cream-powder formulas that actually last on my eyelids without creasing. I can use these as a one and done eyeshadow look, or as a topper for some extra shimmer. These are super travel friendly since I can just apply these with my fingers. 11:11 is my most used palette with a mix of cool and warm tones, although I also love 52 degrees. Review here.

Eye Palette: Tom Ford Eye Color Quad ($88), plus one of my favorites from last year’s winter collection, Soleil Neige, is back for this year.
VIB Rouge 20% off: $70.40
VIB 15% off: $74.80
BI 10% off: $79.20

Do I even need to say anything about these quads? They are the ultimate luxury item but the formula of these quads are fantastic, and the color stories are gorgeous. My favorites are Nude Dip, Body Heat, and Golden Mink. I also have my eye on Leopard Sun and Honeymoon for this year!

Cream Eyeshadow: Tom Ford Cream and Powder Eye Color ($65) in Golden Peach
VIB Rouge 20% off: $52
VIB 15% off: $55.25
BI 10% off: $58.50

Another Tom Ford item that I love are these cream and powder eyeshadow duos. They used to have more shades but Golden Peach is still one of my most used eyeshadows. The cream eyeshadow lasts all day on my eyelids and works as an amazing base for powder eyeshadows, while the glitter topper adds a beautiful wet shimmer look that amps up any look. The price looks steep but these pots last me forever so I think they’re worth the purchase on sale.

Eyeliner: Marc Jacobs Highliner Gel Eye Crayon Eyeliner ($26)
VIB Rouge 20% off: $20.80
VIB 15% off: $22.10
BI 10% off: $23.40

These eyeliners are hands down, the best pencil/gel eyeliners I’ve ever used. They glide on and then don’t budge at all for the rest of the day, plus the color selection is absolutely unbeatable. The only downside is that they dry out quicker than other pencil liners, but they easily last at least a year for me, and up to 2 years. I like the black shade, Blacquer, although I also like (iron)y, (over)night, and (luna)tic.

Mascara: Lancome Monsieur Big Volumizing Mascara ($25) or a set of 2 full-size mascaras for $32
VIB Rouge 20% off: $20 or $25.60 for the set
VIB 15% off: $21.25 or $27.20 for the set
BI 10% off: $22.50 or $28.80 for the set

This mascara is the only high end mascara I’ve really thought was worth it. Although it still doesn’t hold a curl on my puny lashes, it does lengthen and volumize without clumping so much that my lashes *almost* look fake, plus it doesn’t smudge on me at all. I use this over a mascara primer or waterproof mascara.

LIPS

Lipstick: Gucci Satin Lipstick ($42) in The Painted Veil and Matte lipstick in They Met in Argentina
VIB Rouge 20% off: $33.60
VIB 15% off: $35.70
BI 10% off: $37.80

These are one of my top lip discoveries of the year. I love that the shades come in different formulas: matte, satin, or sheer, so that you can really choose what works best for you. All 3 formulas are exception, although I’m partial to the Satin and Sheer formulas because they’re the most comfortable. These rarely go on sale for as high of a discount as 20% so I definitely recommend trying these out now.

Lipstick: YSL makes some of my favorite lip formulas. For a traditional cream lipstick that is comfortable to wear and long lasting, the Rouge Pur Couture ($38) are fantastic. The Rouge Volupte Shine Lipstick Balm is a shinier and glossier formula that does feel like a balm ($38). For a comfortable matte finish, the Rouge Pur Couture Slim Matte Lipstick ($38)  is wonderful, and my favorite shade is 17 Nude Antonym.
VIB Rouge 20% off: $30.40
VIB 15% off: $32.30
BI 10% off: $34.20

Tinted Lip Balm: For a lighter lip option, I’ve been enjoying the Nars Afterglow Lip Balms ($28), and this set looks wonderful, with a full size orgasm balm, and 3 mini lip balms for $39.
VIB Rouge 20% off: $22.40
VIB 15% off: $23.80
BI 10% off: $25.20

These lip balms are just the right weight – light enough to feel weightless, yet heavy enough to feel like a lip treatment. The tint is also just right to really add a hint of color, especially the deeper shades.

Lip Gloss: Nars Oil-Infused Lip Tint ($26 for .28oz/8g)
VIB Rouge 20% off: $20.80
VIB 15% off: $22.10
BI 10% off: $23.40

If you prefer a more glossy lip treatment that functions as a lip gloss, these lip oils are a great option. They all have a very sheer tint, and aren’t greasy or slippery as an oil. They’re very lightweight while still feeling moisturizing.

Lip Gloss: Some of my favorite lipglosses include the Pat McGrath Lip Glosses ($28 each), and these mini sets are a great way to try a few shades for $25. They have just the right amount of medium pigment and aren’t sticky at all while still haven’t enough substance to last a few hours.
VIB Rouge 20% off: $22.40
VIB 15% off: $23.80
BI 10% off: $25.20

Tools: Rounding out the makeup category is actually a tool, my beloved Shiseido Eyelash Curler ($22)
VIB Rouge 20% off: $17.60
VIB 15% off: $18.70
BI 10% off: $19.80

I’ve sworn by this for years, and have 2 or 3 around at all times! This curler is perfect for my eyes since the curve of the curler is quite flat, which suits me well.  I always stock up on the refill pads.

SKINCARE

MAKEUP REMOVERS AND CLEANSERS

Eye makeup remover: Clinique Take the Day Off Eye and Lip Makeup Remover ($20 for 4.2 oz)
VIB Rouge 20% off: $16
VIB 15% off: $17
BI 10% off: $18

This has been my favorite eye makeup remover for years, and it takes off all of my waterproof eyeliner and mascara effortlessly. It also doesn’t leave a residue to make my vision blurry, or irritate my eyes. I’ve tried countless other makeup removers, including the Lancome one, and this one is really just the best. Since I have found a good cleansing oil, I only use this separate makeup remover when I’m using other balms that don’t completely rinse off my eye makeup.

Cleansing oil: Innisfree Green Tea Hydrating Cleansing Oil ($22 for 5.07oz)
VIB Rouge 20% off: $17.60
VIB 15% off: $18.70
BI 10% off: $19.80

I generally prefer cleansing oils to balms, and this one is my new favorite. It takes off all of my makeup and waterproof makeup so well that I often don’t even need to follow up with a separate makeup remover. True to its name, it’s very hydrating as well. Note if you are sensitive to fragrances that this does have a light green tea fragrance.

Cleanser: Fresh Soy Makeup Removing Face Wash ($38 for 5.1oz)
VIB Rouge 20% off: $30.40
VIB 15% off: $32.30
BI 10% off: $34.20

I’m not usually very picky with face washes, but I always come back to this one. It’s super gentle and hydrating while giving me a gentle cleanse that still feels effective.

SERUMS/TREATMENTS

Hydrating serum: The Inkey List Hyaluronic Acid Serum ($7.99 for 1oz/30ml)
VIB Rouge 20% off: $6.39
VIB 15% off: $6.79
BI 10% off: $7.19

This is one of the most affordable and effective hyaluronic acid serums I’ve tried. It’s no frills but effective and I just don’t really anything bad to say about it! It’s great as an extra hydrating layer after I cleanse and before I moisturize my face.

Exfoliating serum: Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow PHA + BHA Pore-Tight Toner ($34 for 150 ml)
VIB Rouge 20% off: $27.20
VIB 15% off: $28.90
BI 10% off: $30.60

BHA toners are essential to keeping my skin clear and prevent blackheads. This one is extremely gentle while still being effective. It is slightly thicker than a toner so I just apply it with my fingers, and concentrate it on my t-zone area. It has a light watermelon scent.

Exfoliating treatment: Dr. Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Extra Strength Daily Peel Pads ($88 for 30 pads or $17 for 5)
VIB Rouge 20% off: $70.40
VIB 15% off: $74.80
BI 10% off: $79.20

If you’re looking for an intense exfoliating treatment for a special event or if your just looks dull, these pads are fantastic! There is a regular strength version if the extra strength is too strong. The two-step pad guarantees that I have soft and glowing skin the next morning. I really haven’t found an exfoliator so effective for when I really want to have a nice glow. While you could use them as a regular treatment, I only use them when I feel like I really need it, which is anywhere from every 2 weeks to 1 time a month.

Exfoliating treatment: Sunday Riley Good Genes ($85 for 1oz)
VIB Rouge 20% off: $68
VIB 15% off: $72.25
BI 10% off: $76.50

If pads are too intimidating or too strong, the Good Genes serum is one of the best exfoliating serums I’ve ever tried. The main ingredients include Lactic Acid, which is a gentle AHA exfoliator that doesn’t dry your skin out. This is effective without being harsh, and it is something I’ve used in my routine for well over 5 years. FYI it does have a lemongrass fragrance that takes some time to get used to, but it is not off putting to me.

Exfoliating treatment: Youth to the People Yerba Mate Resurfacing + Exfoliating Energy Facial with Enzymes ($54 for 2oz)
VIB Rouge 20% off: $43.20
VIB 15% off: $45.90
BI 10% off: $48.60

For a physical exfoliator mixed with some chemical exfoliants, this scrub really is amazing. It has a fine sandy texture, and I like to leave it on my skin for about 2 minutes before I scrub it off. This is another great way to give myself a mini facial when I want to use a physical scrub. I have also used it on my bikini area to keep the skin smooth and free of ingrown hairs.

Face mask: Farmacy Honey Potion Renewing Antioxidant Hydration Mask ($38 for 1.7oz/50ml)
VIB Rouge 20% off: $30.40
VIB 15% off: $32.30
BI 10% off: $34.20

I don’t use a ton of masks that I feel are extremely effective, but this is definitely one of them. I use it most during the winter since it has a warming effect, and it really soothes and hydrates my skin from cold and windy weather.

MOISTURIZERS

Laneige Cream Skin Toner and Moisturizer ($33 for 5oz/150ml)
VIB Rouge 20% off: $26.40
VIB 15% off: $28.05
BI 10% off: $29.70

This toner/moisturizer combo is such a great product because it actually does double duty. If you have oily skin, this cuts down your skincare products to just this since it acts as a toner and moisturizer in one, which I love for the summer. If you have drier or combination skin, it is an ultra hydrating layer in your routine, which is how I use it in the winter. Either way, I consider this a must have for all year.

Belif The True Cream Aqua Bomb ($38 for 1.68 oz/50 ml)
VIB Rouge 20% off: $30.40
VIB 15% off: $32.30
BI 10% off: $34.20

This is a cult favorite for a reason! It’s a light gel-cream texture that is also intensely hydrating. It just applies like a silky cushion and absorbs into my skin quickly without feeling sticky or greasy. They also make great sets, and this set is $38 for a full size plus you get to try some of their other products.

Dr. Jart Ceramidin Cream ($48 for 1.7 oz/50 ml)
VIB Rouge 20% off: $38.40
VIB 15% off: $40.80
BI 10% off: $43.20

This cream is always in my medicine cabinet for when my skin feels irritated or dry. In addition to being just a great moisturizer, ceramidin does wonders for soothing and repairing skin, so I always keep this around if I have dry patches or if I’ve over-exfoliated my skin. It’s an absolute essential for me.

Lxmi Creme du Nil Moisturizer ($58 for 1.2oz)
VIB Rouge 20% off: $46.40
VIB 15% off: $49.30
BI 10% off: $52.20

This moisturizer is a discovery from the past year. It’s a true cream that still feels like a moisturizer that spreads well. The texture just feels so luxurious and absorbs into my skin really well, and it moisturizes far more than the texture would make it seem. I use this during the day in the winter, and it isn’t too heavy or greasy, and I like it at night in the summer for the same reason. Plus the spatula that’s included includes a copper massager to help the product absorb, and also provide some depuffing around my eyes.

EYE TREATMENT

The Inkey List Caffeine Eye Cream ($9.99 for .5 oz/15 ml)
VIB Rouge 20% off: $7.99
VIB 15% off: $8.49
BI 10% off: $8.99

This affordable eye cream does everything I really want a basic eye cream to do. It lightly moisturizes and preps my skin for makeup, and offers some light depuffing and brightening action thanks to the caffeine to get me started for the day since my eyes are often puffy when I wake up. I will keep repurchasing this because it just works so well for me.

Algenist Complete Eye Renewal Balm ($68 for .5oz)
VIB Rouge 20% off: $54.40
VIB 15% off: $57.80
BI 10% off: $61.20

If my daytime eye cream was affordable, this one certainly makes up for any savings I have from the Inkey List one. This is my all-time favorite eye cream for the night time. It has a lotion texture that also keeps my undereyes moisturized through the night, while also preventing puffiness. I notice a difference when I stop using this in that my undereyes just don’t look as smooth or hydrated.

LIP BALM

Jack Black Intense Therapy Lip Balm in SPF 25 ($8)
VIB Rouge 20% off: $6.40
VIB 15% off: $6.80
BI 10% off: $7.20

This is the lip balm I swear by, and this 4-pack is a great deal for $25. I use it every single morning first thing when I’m going out for a run, throughout the day, and it is the only balm that works for me when my lips are extremely chapped. I have tried so many fancier or high end lip balms that work well, or are great night treatments, but this one works well for everything, plus the different scents available are all wonderful.

HAIRCARE

Briogeo Rosarco Milk Leave-in Conditioner ($20 for 5oz/148 ml)
VIB Rouge 20% off: $16
VIB 15% off: $17
BI 10% off: $18

Leave-in conditioner is another product I am not usually picky about, but this one is just so easy to use. It’s a spray formula that does have a milky texture. It provides lightweight moisture that keeps my hair smooth. Sometimes I like to use an oil instead, but since I don’t heat style my hair, this is usually enough moisture for me.

Briogeo Scalp Revival Charcoal + Coconut Oil Micro Exfoliating Scalp Scrub Shampoo ($42 for 8oz)
VIB Rouge 20% off: $33.60
VIB 15% off: $35.70
BI 10% off: $37.80

I never thought I needed an exfoliating shampoo until I used this. Over the past few years I’ve transitioned to washing my hair only a couple times a week, and this shampoo just clears out all the buildup from dry shampoo and grease from the week. Sometimes my scalp also gets itchy because it gets dry, and this really helps restore my scalp. I like that the exfoliating is fairly gentle and rinses out easily.

Briogeo Scalp Revival Charcoal + Tea Tree Scalp Treatment Serum ($32 for 1oz)
VIB Rouge 20% off: $25.60
VIB 15% off: $27.20
BI 10% off: $28.80

This is probably my most cherished and must-have product for my hair! Again, I never thought I would need a hair serum, but this has essentially cured my scalp from feeling dry and itchy. I apply 4 or 5 drops after I wash my hair and it keeps my scalp moisturized and normal until I wash it next, which is usually 2 days. The downside is that 1 oz only lasts about 6-7 months for me, so I wish it came in a bigger bottle, but I will definitely keep buying this.

BODYCARE

Body exfoliator: Necessaire The Body Exfoliator ($30 for 6.1oz)
VIB Rouge 20% off: $24
VIB 15% off: $25.50
BI 10% off: $27

While I like physical body scrubs, I’ve found that this exfoliator, which relies on chemical exfoliants, is far more effective at keeping my KP (keratosis pilaris) at bay and preventing ingrown hairs than physical scrubs. This is gentle enough that my skin doesn’t feel irritated, yet effective enough that I notice a difference after just one use. I tend to use this about 2 times a week.

Body lotion: Clarins Moisture-Rich Body Lotion ($44 for 6.5oz/190ml)
VIB Rouge 20% off: $35.20
VIB 15% off: $37.40
BI 10% off: $39.60

If you’re looking for a good splurge, this body lotion is one of my favorite ones. I can only describe the texture as silky cashmere. It just glides and sinks into my skin while providing intense moisture that keeps even my lizard skin hydrated through the day. This is worth it to me just for how easily it spreads and sinks into my skin.

Body lotion: Josie Maran Whipped Argan Oil Body Butter ($36 for 8oz)
VIB Rouge 20% off: $28.80
VIB 15% off: $30.60
BI 10% off: $32.40

For a heavier option, this body butter is just unmatched. Even though it’s a thick body butter, it spreads well and also absorbs quickly. I use this for when my skin feels extra dry, or when I want to treat myself with any of the scents that this comes in.

Deodorant: Kopari Coconut Deodorant ($14 for 2oz)
VIB Rouge 20% off: $11.20
VIB 15% off: $11.90
BI 10% off: $12.60

This is hands down one of the best deodorants I’ve ever used. It is super smooth and doesn’t irritate my underarms at all. It also is aluminum-free so it doesn’t leave any yellow stains on my white shirts. Since it’s a natural deodorant, it doesn’t completely control my sweat, but it does so better than all other natural deodorants I’ve used.

FRAGRANCES

Unfortunately, many of my favorite fragrances are now discontinued, like basically any of the Elizabeth and James fragrances, Burberry Body, and many of the Commodity scents. However, these 3 fragrances are all in my regular rotation:

Atelier Cologne Orange Sanguine ($30 for .34oz/10ml; $80 for 1oz/30ml)
VIB Rouge 20% off: $24 or $64
VIB 15% off: $25.50 or $68
BI 10% off: $27 or $72

I tried this years ago and have loved it ever since. It’s a citrus with a bitter earthy note that really rounds out the fragrance and makes it appropriate for the whole year. There is sandalwood and geranium that really balance the orange notes of the fragrance, plus it has fantastic lasting power.

Chloe Eau de Parfum ($34 for .33oz/10ml, $79 for 1oz/30ml)
VIB Rouge 20% off: $27.20 or $63.20
VIB 15% off: $28.90 or $67.15
BI 10% off: $30.60 or $71.10

This is the closest thing I have to a signature scent, and there are so many sizes to choose from. It’s a floral with notes of peony, lychee, and rose, but it doesn’t give me a headache. It feels fresh and sweet without being too sweet or cloying. I recommend starting with the rollerball if you aren’t sure about it. I also really love Chloe Love Story, which has a deeper scent with jasmine and neroli ($34 for .2oz/6ml)

Maison Margiela Beach Walk ($30 for .34oz/10ml, $130 for 3.4oz/100ml)
VIB Rouge 20% off: $24 or $104
VIB 15% off: $25.50 or $110.15
BI 10% off: $27 or $117

I love a lot of Maison Margiela scents, but this one is a summer favorite. It has a coconut base with a bit of floral from the bergamot that keeps it feeling fresh. The coconut note really makes me think of summer when I wear this, although it’s not coconutty in a sunscreen kind of way. It really feels like a salty-sweet scent that brings me to the beach. This also has fantastic lasting power for me.

FOR MEN

These are some of my boyfriend’s favorite products!

Jack Black Double Duty Face Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 20 ($28 for 3.3 oz, or $48 for 8.5 oz)
VIB Rouge 20% off: $24.40 or $38.40
VIB 15% off: $23.80 or $40.80
BI 10% off: $25.20 or $43.20

This is the only moisturizer my boyfriend will use. He says it doesn’t feel greasy, plus the SPF makes me feel slightly better that he will always have some SPF on (getting him to wear a separate SPF every single day other than the ones he spends a lot of time outside is still a process!)

Maison Margiela Replica: At the Barbershop  and Jazz Club ($130 for 3.4oz)
VIB Rouge 20% off: $104
VIB 15% off: $110.15
BI 10% off: $117

At the Barbershop is my boyfriend’s favorite (as well as mine!) since it feels fresh and clean. I also love Jazz club on him for an evening scent. The tobacco and rum really come through in an intoxicating smoky sweet scent. The description of “opened cigar boxes, old leather bar stools, and fine aged liquor” is spot on for this scent.
